Dhruv is the son of the principal and swimming coach who falls for Faruq. He is under constant pressure from his parents to excel in everything he does. This pushes him to take drugs. He is driven to get what he wants while caring deeply for the people that matters most to him. He is gay and explores his sexuality with Faruq.

Dhruv befriends Balli after he is a new transfer at his school. One night, Dhruv drunkenly texts to meet Faruq, who quickly leaves after meeting with Dhruv.
Dhruv goes to Balli's party. He gets high with Faruq. Police raids Balli’s party and beat up Faruq, forcing Dhruv to give them money.
Dhruv tells Veer he’s gay. Later on, Dhruv reveals he doesn't really like swimming to Faruq.
After learning about Faruq’s engagement, Dhruv stands up to his father.
