Faruq is Saba's brother and a drug dealer who falls for Dhruv. He is a closeted gay guy who struggles with pleasing his parents while living his true self. He dealt drugs to make enough money to move out.

Faruq and Dhruv eventually fall for each other after meeting. Faruq is the local drug dealer for the students. Faruq's family finds out about his drug dealing and Saba gets yelled at by her father for knowing about it.
Faruq's parents decide he is going to be engaged and set it up.
