Ventura Nunier is a recurring character on the first, second and third season of the Netflix series Elite. He is the wealthy businessman who owns the construction company Nunier S.A. and is the father of Guzmán and Marina. He is portrayed by Ramón Esquinas.

Biography

Background

Ventura's construction company, Nunier S.A., are responsible for the collapse of San Esteban high school, although he and his colleagues go to desperate lengths to conceal the evidence. Ventura arranges for three scholarships to Las Encinas, the school that his children attend.

Season 1

In order to clear his name, Ventura has Samuel invited to Marina's party so that people can see him interacting with the students who were affected by the school's collapse. Later, Samuel and his brother Nano discover the vault in the Nunier household and both attempt to steal from it but fail. Eventually, Ventura is arrested on charges of alleged embezzlement of public funds, bribery, and criminal negligence. He is later bailed out of jail.
