Guadarrama is a location on the Netflix series Elite. It is a town and municipality in the Cuenca del Guadarrama comarca, in the Autonomous Community of Madrid, Spain. It was founded by Arabs and its name comes from uadi-er-rameil river. A number of scenes were filmed here.

History

In a number of episodes, Omar and Samuel are seen walking on the streets of Guadarrama.

The filming location of Frutería Shanaa (Afruta2) is located on Calle la Calzada, 25, Guadarrama, Spain. A google maps image can be seen here.

The scene where Nano gives Teo's watches to the thugs is filmed on the corner of Calle de las Puertas and Travesía del Codo in Guadarrama. In the episode, it appears that Nano is walking along the same street throughout the scene. However, the scene actually included shots of Nano walking along two different streets: Calle de las Puertas and Travesía del Codo.

In the shots where the camera is behind Nano and showing the thug's car, the camera is on Travesía del Codo and facing Calle de las Puertas, making it appear that Nano is walking along Travesía del Codo towards the intersection.

However, when the camera is facing Nano, it is on Calle de las Puertas and facing Travesía del Codo, making it appear that Nano is walking along Calle de las Puertas towards the intersection. It is possible that it was filmed this way because Travesía del Codo is a narrower and less aesthetically pleasing. The google maps image of the intersection can be seen here.
