She is portrayed by Danna Paola.

Lu had the best grades of the class until Nadia’s arrival.

When Valerio returns, Lu confronts him and asks him what he's doing back at school. She finds out he is living in a car and she convinces him to come stay at home while their father is out of town. She tricked him into talking to their father to resolve things - but their father just gets more upset and kicks him out. Lu confronts him saying she is not innocent in all of this. Her father tells her that if she is such an adult, then she can finance her own life and cuts her off.
Realizing that she won't be able to pay for university, Lu realizes she needs to apply for a scholarship. She applies for the Columbia University scholarship, the same one that Nadia wants. They compete for the scholarship throughout the season but Nadia wins it. Nadia and Lu started to form a friendship despite all of this, and Nadia agrees to share the scholarship, 50-50.
At the graduation party, Lu gets in a verbal argument with Polo. She was holding a broken champagne bottle and without fully realizing what she was doing, stabbed him. Polo dies and Lu freaks out. All of her friends band together to make sure that Lu doesn't receive the blame.
At the end of Season 3, Lu goes with Nadia to the airport to fly to New York.Physical Appearance[]
Lu is an attractive young woman with long dark brown hair. Her eyes are dark brown as well. She is of average height and is always seen sporting luxury items; even while in school uniform. She often accessorizes her outfit with headbands and hair clips.
In Season 1, she has wavy brown hair styled with designer headbands. In Season 2, her hair is straight and she starts wearing hairclips. In Season 3, her hair is wavy again.
In terms of makeup, Lu often wears eyeliner, fake eyelashes and a bit of lipstick.
Personality[]
Lu strives to be the best and is highly competitive. When Nadia arrives, Lu, used to being number one in her class, sees her as a threat, and complains to the headmaster and her teacher about Nadia's hijab due to her prejudice about Islamic culture. She often blackmails people (like Martín, the English teacher) to get what she wants. Lu can be witty and humorous, but her friendly side is quickly overshadowed by her cockiness and ambition.
Lu is also extremely loyal and territorial. She protects those close to her and is hesitant to allow people to interfere in her social circle, unless befriending them would benefit her, as seen with how she acts toward Cayetana during Season 3. During the interrogation scenes, Lu compares the scholarship students arriving at Las Encinas to "introducing a new species" and claims that it alters the environment. However, those who are close to her receive unconditional support and care from her.

Relationships[]
Lu and Guzmán[]
In the beginning of Season 1, Guzmán and Lu were dating. Lu challenged Guzmán to seduce and humiliate Nadia in an attempt to prevent her from revealing to Azucena that Lu and Guzmán hooked up in the Las Encinas changing room. However, when Nadia and Guzmán started to become close, Lu became jealous and revealed to Nadia the truth.
In Season 2, they are back together although they seem to fight a lot over Guzmán’s new addiction to drugs. In episode 63 hours missing, during the Halloween party Guzmán confessed to cheating on Lu with Nadia and revealed that he didn't love Lu. They broke up. However, in 84 hours missing, he asks Lu to pretend they are still together in front of his parents and she accepts. Before the party, she finds out that Guzmán had sex with Nadia again, so, tired of lies and being used, she reveals Guzmán cheated on her with Nadia in front of the guests.
In Season 3, Lu seems to be more independent and self-assured, accepting that Guzmán doesn’t love her and rejecting him on certain occasions like at Valentine’s party because she realizes she was his last choice, learning that she doesn't need anyone to find her happiness. They end up in good terms, as friends, despite everything he did to Lu because she steems him a lot.

Lu and Nadia[]
Lu appeared to strongly dislike Nadia from the moment Nadia entered the halls of Las Encinas, most likely due to Nadia threatening her academic status and her anti-Muslim sentiment. Lu even went as far as complaining about Nadia's hijab to the principal, who forced Nadia to take it off if she wanted to remain a student of the school. Lu very much saw Nadia as competition, both for the top spot in their class and for the affection of Lu's boyfriend, Guzmán, who developed feelings for Nadia throughout the first season and consequently left Lu for Nadia. In the third season, due to her being cut off from her family's wealth, Lu competed with Nadia for full scholarship for a scholarship to Columbia University in New York, but as their final semester winded down, Nadia and Lu started bonding and agreed it's best to put everything behind them and decided to become friends.
In episode named Polo, after graduating, Nadia decided to split the scholarship with Lu, after learning about her exclusion from her family's wealth. The two girls became even closer due to the generosity and decided to travel to America together.
In Season 8, Nadia mentions that Lu helped her with contacts in New York in order to enter Alumni and get her intership at the UN through it.
Lu and Carla[]
Lu and Carla have been best friends since before the start of the series. It is revealed that Carla became Lu's best friend and distanced herself from Marina, with whom she had been friends since childhood, due to the "bad company" she kept with. They seem to have friction during the first season, but despite that, Lu always tries to advise as she can on matters such as her polyamorous relationship with Polo and Christian. Likewise, Carla is the only one to whom she confesses the bribe she made to Martín.
In Season 2, Carla began to isolate herself due to the pressure she felt to hide the truth about Marina's murder, and Lu tried to support her as best she could, but she became upset because Carla began to leave her aside and ignore her. Lu develops a new friendship with Cayetana, which ends up distancing them. In episode 84 hours missing, Lu reveals Cayetana's lie and highlights Carla's indifference and distrust towards her, eventually realizing Carla and Samuel's relationship. So, she also reveals their relationship in her speech.
In Season 3, Lu feels disdain for Carla when she reveals the truth about Marina's murder in the beginning of the season and both seem to have a distant friendship but as the season goes by, Lu starts worrying for her.
Lu and Omar[]
In Season 1 Lu and Omar don't interact with each other. However, in Season 2 they formally meet after Omar starts oficially dating Ander, thus being part of Lu's social events. In 59 hours missing, during a dinner in a double date with Ander and Guzmán, Lu and Omar develop a friendship after realizing they share many things, having a nice time casually talking between them. Lu even mentions that she considers him someone charming and nice, and finds hard to believe that he's Nadia's older brother. In 63 hours missing, during Rebeka's halloween party, they comfort each other after being rejected by their couples, Lu cheers him up saying to him that Ander doesn't deserve him, and invites him to drink and dance, she even helps him by asking Valerio to give him a job.
