Malick Diallo was a main character on the third season of the Netflix series Elite. He has very clear ideas and was romantically involved with Nadia and Omar. He is portrayed by Leïti Sène.

Biography[]

Background[]

Malick grew up in a wealthy, Muslim family form Senegal. His grandfather used to own gold mines, his father attended a prestigious university in New York (arguably Columbia University) and now owns Africa's biggest telecommunication company. He comes from Senegal's richest family and assumes to be "the fourth, third, maybe second" richest Las Encinas student.

Throughout the Series[]

Season 3[]

In Season 3, Malick is instantly attracted and drawn to Nadia. He relates to her because they are both Muslim. He asks her out, asks to meet her family, and more. They start to connect. Malick even impresses her parents and gains their approval, unlike Nadia's ex- Guzmán. They date until Nadia finds out that Malick is secretly gay and had an affair with her brother, Omar. Nadia and Malick break up - but Malick and Lu both convince Nadia that she might be better off lying to her parents about dating Malick so that they let her go to New York.

They continue to date and Malick even proposes to Nadia, thrilling her parents. Nadia accepts for one day but then realizes that she doesn't want to live a life of lies and she breaks it off.

Malick and Omar secretly continue to hook up, despite the fact that Omar was still with Ander at the time. Omar decides to follow Malick to New York and live with him there, until the last minute when he changes his mind and stays with Ander. Malick continues on to fly to New York with Nadia and Lu at the end of Season 3.
