Neeraj Kumar Valmiki, commonly referred to as Neeraj, is a main character on the Netflix series Class, the Indian adaptation of Elite. He is portrayed by Gurfateh Pirzada.

Background[]
Neeraj is Dheeraj's older brother who just got out of prison, and is also a love interest of Suhani. He is vocal against prevalent casteism. His handsome and dangerous aura draws Suhani in. He struggles to pay a debt from prison and will do anything to get his hands on money. He is caring and sensitive to the people close to him. He often finds himself in trouble.
Throughout the Series[]
Season 1[]
Neeraj is Dheeraj's brother. They grow up poor. Neeraj is released from prison after leading a protest against Ahuja Properties at the beginning of the season. Neeraj tells his brother that their father owes 15 lakh rupees from Chowdhary inmates. Neeraj asks Dheeraj to steal the money from his new wealthy classmate, Suhani.
Dheeraj won't steal the money so Neeraj takes things into his own hands. He meets Suhani and they decide to go to her house. After they have sex, Neeraj tries to steal money but is disrupted by Veer and Saba.
Later on, Neeraj is forced to settle a debt. He is offered a deal — he must kill someone, a peon of another school because he has evidence against Ahuja Properties.
Suhani hels Neeraj and his brother steal Kalra’s phone for money. Neeraj learns that one of his stolen phones is more valuable than he thought. He tries to use this against the person he stole it from.
Neeraj finds out that Suhani is pregnant with his child. Neeraj and Suhani plan to run away together.
After Suhani gets murdered, the police wrongfully suspect and arrest Neeraj for her murder.

Neeraj is adventurous, dangerous, and not afraid to take a risk. Deep down, he is a caring, sensitive, and kind guy with a big heart.
