Roberta Goldstein is a recurring character on the sixth, seventh and eighth seasons of the Netflix series Elite. She is portrayed by Luz Cipriota.
Biography[]
Roberta is an Argentina socialite and is the mother of Isadora. She and her husband, Martín, own a slew of hotels in Mexico and parts of Europe. Not much is known about her past.
Throughout the Series[]
Season 6[]
Roberta is introduced in Anxiety entering Isadora's room right about when she is going to start her DJ set. However in the middle of Isadora's set, Isa has a panic attack when she spots Álex, Hugo and Javier walking into her club. Roberta follows her daughter into the bathroom, and gives her an oxycodone pill by tricking her into thinking it is an anti-anxiety one. Later in the episode, Isadora calls Roberta to see if they should go out for breakfast the next day, but finds out that Roberta had decided to go back to Ibiza as her family had some legal documents they needed to sign. In this conversation, Roberta reveals that the charges they filed against her daughter's three rapists were dropped. She then goes on to accuse Isadora for being too promiscuous and drinking too much.
In Masks, Roberta makes another surprise appearance in Isadora's club now with Dídac's older brother, Pau, only to find out that he was only meeting with her to discuss illegal business that his family runs in the Middle East. She angrily kicks Pau out and fires Dídac, and warns them to leave her family and businesses alone or they will suffer severe consequences. She is last seen walking up to the bar, and leaving the club to return back to Argentina.
Season 7[]
Following the shooting at the school, Roberta returns to Madrid to band with the other parents to et Didiac expelled from school, however, their efforts are fruitless when after being theatened by one of Didiac older brother's Pau men, she changes her mind, which allows Didiac to stay in Las Encinas. However, she soon begins to get vengeful as she kills Isa's childhood horse during a horse race, but after further inviesitgation, Isa finds out that her mom had the horse put down, and soon cuts her out of her life. With no other plans, ROberta returns back to Argentina. Later in the season, she yet again drops by unexpectedly to Isadora's place with a surpise: her husband and Isadora's father. Roberta quickly apologizes to Isa for the horse incident and for not givign Didac a chance. Isadora reluctantly aceepts it as she wants her family to be a normal family, but soon it's further dashed as Roberta recruits Isadora in their bussiness oprotations that invovle Blackmail and Fraud.
Season 8[]
After Isadora sends Martin to prison, her and Isadora are flat broke as their hotels were closed, and Isadora's club is the only way they are stay aflot. However, after going to the prison and talking to Martin, who's being threatened in prison, Roberta soon realizes she can get her spot in the high life back, she begins to pressure Isadora to sell her club, so that way they can bail Martin out of prison and they could return to Argentina, but it's soon all for not, as it's learned that Martin was murdered in prison. As a reaction, she begins to tear into Isadora and blame her for his death, by calling her a drug addicted spoiled brat that shouldn't have been born. Later in the season, it's mentioned by Isadora that she cut her out of her life.

She is a slim older woman with brown eyes, tanned skin and wavy dirty blonde hair. She usually wears shiny colored expensive clothes and jewelry.
Personality[]
Similar to Cruz, Roberta is shown to be the free spirited kind of parent and is always looking for a good time. It has been mentioned by Isadora that Roberta and her husband were neglectful to Isadora when she was younger as they used to leave their daughters in hotels by herself as they went to enjoy the jet setting high life.
