Trivia[]

  • This marks the first season in which one of its original main cast members reprises their role (Omar Ayuso).
  • It's the second season that doesn't have a group promotional picture.
  • It was originally decided that the show would've ended with Season 6, but Netflix reversed this decision as they quietly renewed the series for a Season 7.
  • This is the first and only season where Anitta features.
  • This is the last season for Alex Pastrana, Álvaro de Juana and Ana Bokesa as part of the main cast.
  • The release date was announced on June 17, 2023 during the TUDUM event.[6]
  • The trailer was supposed to drop on October 13, 2023, as part of a handful of scheduled exclusive content on the show's Instagram broadcast channel. However, at the last minute, the managers of the account apologized and stated that the trailer would not be released until the following week, which angered fans. As a way of compensation, a 1-minute sneak peek of the first episode along with new promotional images were published instead.[7] André Lamoglia confirmed that the trailer would drop on October 17.
  • On October 18, 2023, Netflix confirmed that Elite would be crossing over with South African series Blood and Water by introducing one of its main characters, Fikile Bhele, in the season. André will also be appearing in the show's upcoming fourth season.[8]
  • Unlike the previous seasons, the seventh season only includes a single flash-forward event focusing on a crime, which is not seen until the finale.
    • This is also the first season in which the crime is not the main focus.
  • It’s also the first season to feature two of the original recurring cast members reprising their roles (Abdelatif Hwidar and Farah Hamed).
  • This is the third and last season without Mina El Hammani. She returned for the eighth and final season.
