Yusef Shanaa is a recurring character on the Netflix series Elite, serving as the heroic main antagonist of its first overall story arc. He is Nadia and Omar's father. He is portrayed by Abdelatif Hwidar.

Season 1

In Todo estalla, Azucena accidentally reveals to Yusef that Omar is gay, angering him. He immediately resumes Omar's arranged date with Zahira, Nasser and Fatima's daughter.

Season 2

In 20 hours missing, he had a stroke. After that, he needed physiotherapy and relied on his children to take care of Frutería Shanaa.

Season 3

Yusef begins to accept that Omar is gay and in a relationship with Ander.

Season 7

Yusef briefly returned when Omar was packing his things to move in with his parents. Their relationship is still the same since he accepted him.
